We’re pleased to announce the new release of a preview image of the Colibri T20 Android BSP. It contains:

• Fastboot boot loader
• Linux 2.6.39.4 kernel
• Android ICS 4.0.3 file system

We are pleased to announce the release of version V1.0 of the Colibri T20 Linux BSP. This contains:

• U-Boot 2011.06 boot loader
• Linux 2.6.36.2 kernel
• OpenEmbedded 2011.03 based root file system (using LXDE desktop environment)

You can download this version from our product download server here. There are no changes to this version from the previous V1.0 Beta. U-Boot and Linux kernel sources are available here and OpenEmbedded metadata is available here.

We are pleased to inform you that your generous donations, which were collected by Toradex during Embedded World 2012 in support of the German and Swiss Red Cross, sum up to 21’000 Euros. Toradex representatives handed over this money to the Swiss Red Cross in Bern on March 12th. Half of this sum will transferred by the Swiss Red Cross the German Red Cross.

82nd International Motor Show Geneva, March 8-18: Colibri T20 hits the road!

Toradex received an exclusive invitation to the 82nd International Motor Show Geneva, where we had a firsthand opportunity to inspect the Colibri T20-powered infotainment system of one of the world’s most exciting cars.

Limited to no more than 150 cars, there’s little chance for most of us to acquire one of these exquisite masterpieces of craftsmanship. However, we also spotted Colibri T20 applications during our visit to the Geneva Motor Show which are more commonly used by many of us…
